Notes for Henry Robert Whitworth
Farmed in Manitoba for 18 years (approximately 1885-1903). After visiting England for 6 months, he moved to Vancouver and from 1904, he operated a cattle ranch in the Skagit Valley. This was later sold on his retirement to the City of Seattle.
Military notes for Henry Robert Whitworth
In 1885, enlisted in the Moose Mountain Scouts and served during the North-West Rebellion of 1885. In 1948, he was presented to Viscount Alexander, Governor-General of Canada, as the oldest veteran of that conflict.
