Since Margaret was identified by James as his second daughter, there is an error in the suggested date of birth of at least one of these sisters. An obituary from the Bolton Enterprise of 21 October 1904 stated that “Mrs. Johnson [sic] was in her 79th year and had been a resident of the district for many years.”

Birthplace given as Ontario in the 1881 Census and Ireland in the 1891 Census.

George was one of the executors of his father-in-law’s will and was described by James as his trusty friend. Margaret and George lived on Lot 3, Concession 4, Albion Township, Peel County, Ontario, Canada.

They had no children of their own, but raised Margaret Amelia Lougheed, Margaret’s brother Abraham’s daughter.
