Buried in a collective grave with 6 others in Munster, France; 5 others members of the RCAF, and one RAF member.

Ralph’s Avro Lancaster was lost in the village of Hohrodberg, 4 km north of Munster, France, outbound on a bombing run to Munich from the RAF base at Elsham Woods in Lincolnshire, England. They were originally buried some 25 m from the crash site by local nuns; they were subsequently moved the collective grave in Munster’s Communal Cemetery.224 A memorial exists at the crash site itself, located at 48.07022 N 7.13125 E.225
