Notes for Margaret Lougheed
According to the 1910 United States Census for Bay City Precinct 2, Ward 9, Michigan, Margaret Graham, widow, age 85, mother of 15 [sic] children was shown as having enetered the United States in 1875 as an immigrant. This entry is likely in error as the 1881 Ontario Census shows Margaret and William Graham were living in Disrict 141, Cardwell, Mono Township at that time. Margaret was probably visiting the United States in 1875.
Buried in the family plot of her son William McMorris.
Notes for John & Margaret (Family)
John purchased his father’s farm in December 1840: the southwest 1/4 of Lot 13, Concession 4, Township of Albion. Ten of the eleven McMorris children were born on this farm. Leter the family moved to Mono Township, now in Dufferin County.
