Georgina’s granddaughter Willo Battersby writes that her grandmother was very advanced for her day and was said always to be president of any organization to which she belonged. In Toronto she was active in Home and School, politics and schurch, and was on the Board of the Residence of Willard Hall, a residence for young women, for 27 years.
