Their daughter Matilda’s death certificate gives her parents’ names as John and Matilda; her marriage certificate gives them as James and Jane. Fannie’s death certificate gives them as James and Jane Walker, while her marriage certificate also gives them as James and Jane. Based on that, I’m throwing out the John and Matilda references as incorrect, and going with James Morrow and Jane Walker.
