Called “the rich.” Knight and highly esteemed man at Möðruvellir in Eyjafjörður after the Black Death of 1403. In Espólín’s Annals (chapter 2 page 36) he is said to have owned 80 good farms, and each of his sons inherited 13 hundreds, while his daughters inherited 7.5 hundreds in addition to other good.
