Notes for William Thomas Armstrong
An early pioneer, W.T. settling in Winnipeg in the 1870s. He had a blacksmith shop near Portage Avenue and Fort Street. He and his wife were active members of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, and he was a member of the Vestry from 1929 to 1933. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and an Orangeman.
