Notes for William James Lougheed
William graduated from the University of Toronto in 1903. Following a number of years as a teacher in public schools, he became a professor of mathematics at the Ontario College of Education in 1923, a position he held until his retirement in 1946 when he was made professor emeritus.
He was a joint author of textbooks on geometry and general mathematics. He was a life member of Runnymede Masonic Lodge and an elder of Runnymede United Church in Toronto.
